Green
Apologises if already done. I don't like to single one particular player out as many of our team are blow par and Green seems a decent chap, however the goalkeeping position is arguably the most important I just can't believe how many times he has been caught out of position considering he is trying to be Englands No.1?

The amount of times Green has cost us are too voluminous to list. He regularly gets caught out positionally from crosses, corners, cross shots and freekicks like a kangaroo caught in car headlights.

His positional sense makes Repka, Dailly & Co look like a world beater.

I have never been to Australia and so cannot say for certain, but I am reasonably sure that a Kangaroo caught in car headlights does not feel hesitant about whether to come for a cross.

If Green leaps through the windscreen of a dilapidated 'ute' on Wednesday night, I will blame you Bullet....

Goalkeeping is a thankless task.

Re: Green
I think that there are far too many cunts on here for one. Not had a settled back 4 in front of him the entire season.... I know let's dig every player out, but yet the players aren't to blame it's Zola... according to others.

I for one support my club, will cheer every minute and desperately hope that we pick up enough points.

The same people who criticise him are undoubtedly the same ones that would bitch moan and whine if he was sold. Fucking grow up, get a spine and let's fight our way out of this.

Re: Green
A lot of people are slagging of the players.

I am not sure if this is a fair comment I am about to make, but if one or two players are underperforming then I'd say the problem is with them.

If its more than that, then surely you have to look at the manager and say why are so many of the players under performing, all at the same time,

It bothers me deeply that Carlton Cole was quoted as saying he is bored with it all on another thread.

Tin hat on at the ready.

Re: Green
He's been a good player for MY CLUB and i don't like slagging off a bloke who undoubted quality.

He's made a few errors but his performance at Arsenal alone kept us in this division and he was right in the thick of it helping us to two top 10 finishes.

He's nearly established himself as England's number 1 while he's with us.

More than I expected when he joined and i'll applaud him to the end.

Surely they would be too numerous - or is there another dimension to all this?

Good shot stopper, mong with no positional sense who makes poor judgements.

Re: Green
On a list of priorities for a GK i reckon kicking knocks around at about 7 or 8.

It's like knocking a striker for being shit at taking corners.

Re: Green
i-Ron agreed he has far exceeded expectations, such a shame he has been unable to continue to such a high standard. It is such an important position for us, that is the worry.

One Mac, I don't know you but I know you follow the team all over. West Ham are having a rough time, but we will turn it around now that we have new owners. It will take some time unfortunately. The good times will come again. IRONS!

Re: Green
Am I the only one who isn't bothered that Green's kicking isn't food enough for the quaterback role?

I happen to think our style of play is to fault for his kicking but that's for another time.

Agreed I forgot about his kicking. It is not my intention for this thread to become a slag fest, but I am genuinely interested to see if my opinion is shared.

He is a fantastic shot stopper so it is such a shame.

yep...he has not been able to kickthe fucking thing with any power or length of a while. Shadow of his former self of 2 seasons agoish
